We climbed up a mountain in Yosemite to a beautiful and secluded spot they had chosen for the ceremony. Luckily for me it wasn't too far, for though I love to hike - not so much in a skirt and sandals!
Amy, Jeff & Abbie, Bonnie, Colby and Jaxson
Jake helped Lace up the rocky trail. Notice he has flip flops on? He told us months before the wedding that they were mandatory! Just before the ceremony though, he kicked his off and was married barefoot. That's our Jake!
Jake's friend Royce performed the ceremony and did a really beautiful job.
We felt privileged to witness their vows to each other.
Here we are - all 19 of us! It was so great to have our whole family there and we all felt it was a sacrifice worth making. We are blessed indeed to have such wonderful kids and grandkids. We officially now have 5 daughters and 5 sons - yay!

All this because two people fell in love!

Impossible to get them to look at the camera but still oh so cute.
Here we are with our 7 grandkids. It was truly a perfect and magical day.

I agree with Lacey. That was such a fun weekend! I wish we could do it more often.
