Good times!

October is not over yet but I thought I'd blog the pictures we've taken so far.  We've had lots of fun so thought the 2 or 3 of you that read our blog would like to see the photos!

Here we are at the zoo - again!  Good thing we bought a season pass.  We've had lots of fun outings this year and still have about six months on the pass - so there will be more zoo pics I'm sure.

Melissa says that Cameron is always dressed like a teenager - I think she's right!

Wow, Bay is nearly 13!  Jaxson sang the "Star Spangled Banner" (with his choir) at the Maverick Center so we went to watch him - and the Grizzlie's play hockey.

Here's our Bay all suited up for his game.  He's really fast and has had some great plays.

Colby plays soccer and is getting better each season with his dad as his coach.

Last Saturday we had a full day of football and soccer - we called it our grandson day!  It started at 10 with Bay's game, then Colby's at 2 and ended with Jaxson's last game in North Ogden!  It was a long day but oh so much fun to be with our kids.

We went with Josh's family to Gardner Village to see the witches and had a fun night getting in the Halloween mode.

JACOB PASSED THE BAR!!!!!

Once upon a time there was a little boy, the youngest in his family.  His brothers and sister loved him and helped teach him things.  He looked forward to doing what they could do and finally...........

it was time for his first day of kindergarten!

Each year was exciting and he loved going to school.

As he grew he tried to do his best at everything he did.

He even did his homework with a smile

with the possible exception of when we were on vacation!

He came up with some cool projects

that made his dad proud.

And then he discovered rock climbing..........

 and computers

and comics.

He grew, got more handsome

and had a great idea for a future company!

He knew he had to graduate from high school to make it happen

but wondered "Do I really have to go college?"

All his climbing helped make him so strong that he could easily beat his dad at arm wrestling.

Going to Yosemite to work for the summer was a dream come true for him and he not only got to climb some of the most beautiful places in the world but

met the girl of his dreams there.

He golfed once in a while just to make his dad happy

and talked his mom into zip-lining, knowing it would make her happy.

That little boy is all grown up and now he makes the girl of his dreams very happy - and she in turn makes him happy.

Oh how much his mother loves her boy!

It's no surprise to us that he passed the bar.  We've watched him grow and succeed for 27 years.  Now all his hard work has paid off and the future is bright and full of promise.  We love him very much and are so proud of both him and his sweetheart.  Now the next step is real life --- and a job!  Good luck son, go get 'em.

Long time no post!

Cam is 16 months old and makes my Tuesdays & Thursdays so fun!  He is growing so fast and gets smarter every week.  Another great part of tending him is that I get to see Jer & Tauna too!

 Eliza rocks!
Sorry Julie for letting Delaney make a mess of her cute dress, next time I'll put a bib on her.
She sure enjoyed the Creamie...........and it's nice to have someone that likes the
orange ones as I only like the chocolate!
Our oh-so-handsome Jax is an awesome soccer player and we
really love watching him play.  He is a star for sure!
Jeff was so excited to get hypnotized once again at the State Fair that we rushed to get there early
so he could be a part of the show.  Somehow the hypnotist could tell that he'd be a hoot to
watch so made him be Elvis.  He didn't know the words but sure can move his hips!
We have another dvd if anyone wants to watch it!

I turned the camera over to Jeff and he not only photographed Cam & Colby on the pumpkins,
he got a couple of unknown kids too (I probably would have waited till they were out of the frame)!
 Me & the cute punkins!
Farmer Eliza, collecting produce at the Helping Hands Farm at the fair
This was Liza & Laney's first time at the fair and we loved having them with us.  We missed Noah, Abbie & Jeffrey, but maybe someday we'll have all of them with us.
It's nearly impossible to get both girls looking at the camera at the same time.  Here they are enjoying the fruits of their labors on the farm.  They get to choose from an apple, cereal or milk.  Laney got cereal & Liza chose chocolate milk.  What a fun time.
Cam had a great time walking around to see all the animals and wore himself out.
The two who helped start our State Fair tradition.  This was our 10th straight year with them.
They are great sports and we totally adore spending time with them.  They are good to help us out with the little ones.
Ahhh, little Noah, so cute!  He's 11 months old already!
Cam raided Jer's wallet one night and shared his loot with cousin Noah.  They crawled under the coffee table and played with all his cards & money!  Sorry Jer if you didn't get it all back.
Eliza & Noah wishing they were big enough for a real ride on papa's motorcycle

Noah & Spencer standing on their heads!  It's cute to see him mimic his dad.

Ok, that was some of our August and September.  What a great life we have with our kids and grandkids.  We are so blessed!
